Custom software

MVP and software prototype development

Instead of building everything at once, we start with the smallest version of the product that shows whether the idea works. Then we develop it based on real data.

What we can do for you

Product workshop

We set the goal, users and key features, and park the rest for later.

Clickable prototype

A mockup you can show customers and investors before any code exists.

First version (MVP)

A working version with a basic scope, ready for first users.

Growth plan

A roadmap of next features based on feedback and metrics.

About this service

Custom software, also called bespoke software, is built around the processes of a specific company. It covers MVPs and prototypes, internal tools and workflow systems, legacy system modernization, and maintenance and development of existing solutions. We can also join your team as a dedicated development team.

Compared with off-the-shelf programs, a custom system avoids workarounds, integrates better with other tools and gives you full control of the code and its further development.

Why Cormo

Smaller starting budget

You pay for what proves value, not for the full version.

Faster learning

You gather real user feedback before the full product exists.

No dead end

The architecture is built to be extended, so you do not start from scratch after the first tests.

Technologies

Experience you can rely on

We have been building custom software since 2016, in over 100 projects. We work iteratively, show progress every few weeks, and hand over the code and documentation to the client. We also take over systems built by other companies.

How we work

  1. 01

    Meeting

We learn the business goal, the users and the project constraints.

  2. 02

    Estimate

We settle the scope, a first estimate and a schedule.

  3. 03

    Delivery

We design, build and test in short iterations.

  4. 04

    Support

We deploy, monitor and evolve the solution after launch.

Legacy modernization

The old system still works, but every change is costly and risky. We help clean it up, upgrade it or replace it step by step, without stopping the company.

Internal tools and workflow

Many companies run key processes in spreadsheets and email. We replace them with simple systems that enforce step order, permissions and deadlines.

Maintenance and development

A system needs care after launch: updates, monitoring and quick reaction to errors. We provide it for our own projects and for solutions taken over from other companies.

A team that works on your product like an in-house department, without the cost and time of hiring. We choose the team’s composition to match the project stage.

Frequently asked questions

What is an MVP and what exactly do you deliver?

An MVP is the smallest version of a product that lets you test an idea on real users before you invest in the whole. We deliver a working application with the key features, a simple admin panel and basic analytics, plus code and documentation that belong to you. It is not a mockup or a showcase prototype. The scope is set so that it answers one main question: do people want this. This way you base further decisions on real feedback and data rather than guesses.

How does building an MVP work step by step and how long does it take?

We start with a workshop: who the user is, which problem we solve and which features are truly essential. Then we design the simplest flow, build it in short iterations and show progress every few weeks. The first version goes to a test group of users. Duration depends on scope: the sharper the feature cut, the sooner you launch. We give the exact schedule after the workshop. After the first tests we decide together what to fix and what to remove before you add more features.

What determines the price of an MVP and how can it be kept down?

The number of features matters most, so the most effective method is selecting them carefully. Integrations (payments, login, notifications), the complexity of rules and the polish of the interface also count. We estimate scope in modules, and you decide what goes into the first version. It is worth postponing everything that does not serve the main hypothesis, since it can be added after the first results. Postponed features are not lost: they go on a priority list and return to the discussion once market data arrives.

Will the MVP end up as throwaway code, and what about security?

We write the MVP so that it can be developed further, using the same technologies we use in full projects, such as Laravel, React and PostgreSQL. The scope can be simplified but the foundations cannot: login, data protection and backups are there from the start. Some solutions may need rewriting later under strong growth, and we say so openly rather than promise that nothing will ever need changing.

What comes after the MVP: how do I assess results and decide on development?

After launch we gather analytics data and user feedback, then decide together which features to develop, change or drop. You can continue with us in further iterations or hand the project to another team, since the code and documentation are yours. If the product catches on, we plan scaling where measurements show the need. If the idea does not work out, the loss is smaller than after a full build.
