What does working with a software house look like step by step, and how long does a project take?
We start with a conversation about the business goal, then agree on scope, a rough plan and how we estimate. We work iteratively, in short stages with regular demos, so you can correct course before it becomes expensive. Duration depends on complexity: a simple website is a different scale from a large system with integrations. We give a realistic schedule only after learning the requirements, because earlier it would be guesswork.
What determines the cost of custom software and how is it estimated?
The price depends mainly on the scope of features, the number of user roles, integrations with existing systems, security requirements and how polished the interface needs to be. We estimate after a conversation and requirements analysis, not from a fixed price list. Larger projects are split into stages, so you can start with the most important part and extend it once the first results are in. That keeps the budget under control.
Are my data and code safe when working with an external software company?
We run security management aligned with ISO/IEC 27001, which means written procedures for access to data and code, and consistent use of them. Details such as a confidentiality agreement or rules for accessing environments are settled before work starts. To be precise, this is alignment with the standard, not a certification. If your industry has special requirements, we discuss them at the very beginning.
Who owns the code and documentation after the project, and does Cormo maintain systems after launch?
The source code and documentation belong to you, so you are not locked in to a single vendor. After launch we can handle maintenance, fixes and further development, but nothing obliges you to use us. We work with PHP, Laravel, Python, React, React Native, Angular, Vue, Node.js and PostgreSQL, a widely known stack that another team could also take over if you ever chose that.
