Hardware + software
IoT platforms and device data collection
Device data becomes valuable only when someone can see it, analyze it and react. We build the part that makes that possible.
What we can do for you
Data ingestion and storage
Secure ingestion of readings from many devices and their archiving.
Dashboards and visualization
Live view of device state, charts and history.
Alerts and rules
Notifications about threshold breaches, failures and lost connectivity.
Remote configuration
Changing settings and updating devices from the panel.
About this service
Hardware + software solutions combine a device with software: IoT platforms, hardware integrations, device apps over Bluetooth, scanners, readers and label printers. In such projects we handle the software side: apps, backend, APIs and panels.
Software for devices requires cooperation with the hardware maker and careful testing on real devices, so we work closely with your technical team.
Why Cormo
Data-driven decisions
Instead of guessing you see what happens in the field.
Scalability
From a pilot on a few devices to thousands.
Company integration
Data flows into ERP, reports and analytics.

Experience you can rely on
We cover the software side of device-based solutions: apps, backend, integrations and panels. Electronics and hardware are handled by your team or a partner, and we adapt to their interfaces and protocols.
How we work
- 01
Meeting
We learn the business goal, the users and the project constraints.
- 02
Estimate
We settle the scope, a first estimate and a schedule.
- 03
Delivery
We design, build and test in short iterations.
- 04
Support
We deploy, monitor and evolve the solution after launch.

Device integration
A scanner, scale or label printer has to talk to your system. We connect them so the worker needs just one click instead of retyping data.
Device apps
A companion app is the face of a device. It handles pairing, configuration and showing the user what the hardware does, while syncing data with the cloud in the background.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly does an IoT platform for collecting device data include?
It includes secure ingestion of readings from many devices, their archiving, dashboards with a live view and history, alerts for threshold breaches, failures and lost connectivity, and remote settings changes. We build it as software: backend, panel and integrations. We do not design the device, sensors or electronics itself. That is done by the client or a hardware partner. The code and documentation belong to you.
How is an IoT platform built and how long does it take?
We start by agreeing with the hardware team what the device sends, how often and over which protocol (for example MQTT). Then we build data ingestion, the database and a first dashboard, often on simulated readings, so we do not wait for finished hardware. Next stages are alerts, device management and reports. We work iteratively. Duration depends on the number of devices, reading frequency and panel scope, so we set a schedule after analysis.
What determines the cost of an IoT platform?
The number of devices and how often they send data matter most, because they shape the architecture and infrastructure cost. Dashboard scope, alert rule complexity, remote configuration and update needs, and how long history is stored add to it. It also matters whether the data will later be analyzed, for example to predict failures. We base the estimate on the device communication specification and scale, and split the work into stages.
Is my device data secure, and what happens when connectivity is lost?
We encrypt transmission, authenticate devices and grant data access by role, following practices aligned with ISO/IEC 27001. We treat lost connectivity as a normal state: a device can buffer readings and send them later, while the system raises an alert about missing signal. False alarms are a risk too, so we tune alert rules with you on real data.
Will the IoT platform grow with the number of devices, and who maintains it after launch?
Yes, we design the architecture so devices can be added without a rebuild, by increasing server and database resources (for example PostgreSQL). After launch we can monitor operation, update the system and add new indicators and reports. The code and documentation are yours, so your own team can maintain it just as well. As data grows we plan archiving so costs do not grow out of control.
