Hardware + software
Software and device integration
A scanner, scale or label printer has to talk to your system. We connect them so the worker needs just one click instead of retyping data.
What we can do for you
Scanners and readers
Reading barcodes, QR codes and RFID tags in a mobile or web app.
Label printers
Automatic printing of labels and documents from the system.
Scales and measuring devices
Pulling measurement results straight into a form or document.
Terminals and kiosks
Apps for self-service stations and service points.
About this service
Hardware + software solutions combine a device with software: IoT platforms, hardware integrations, device apps over Bluetooth, scanners, readers and label printers. In such projects we handle the software side: apps, backend, APIs and panels.
Software for devices requires cooperation with the hardware maker and careful testing on real devices, so we work closely with your technical team.
Why Cormo
Less manual work
Data reaches the system without retyping.
Fewer mistakes
A device reading replaces keyboard entry.
Faster handling
Warehouse and sales operations take less time.

Experience you can rely on
We cover the software side of device-based solutions: apps, backend, integrations and panels. Electronics and hardware are handled by your team or a partner, and we adapt to their interfaces and protocols.
How we work
- 01
Meeting
We learn the business goal, the users and the project constraints.
- 02
Estimate
We settle the scope, a first estimate and a schedule.
- 03
Delivery
We design, build and test in short iterations.
- 04
Support
We deploy, monitor and evolve the solution after launch.

IoT platforms
Device data becomes valuable only when someone can see it, analyze it and react. We build the part that makes that possible.
Device apps
A companion app is the face of a device. It handles pairing, configuration and showing the user what the hardware does, while syncing data with the cloud in the background.
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect a scanner, scale or label printer to my system?
It depends on the device and its connection type. A barcode scanner can act as a keyboard over Bluetooth or USB, and in a mobile app we can also use the phone camera. Scales and printers connect through a serial port, the network or the manufacturer’s API. The result is that the worker needs just one click and the data lands in the form or document. We build the integration software, while the client chooses the hardware.
What does a device integration project look like and how long does it take?
We begin by reading the device documentation and, where possible, testing on a real unit, since the protocol decides the whole job. Then we build the integration for one scenario, such as weighing and printing a label, and check it in real working conditions. We work iteratively, adding more devices. Duration depends on the number of models and the quality of their documentation, so we give a schedule after analysis.
What drives the cost of integrating devices with software?
The number and variety of devices, availability of protocol documentation and where the application runs: in a browser, on a phone or on a station with a local system. A browser has limited hardware access, so a small helper program is sometimes needed. Required reliability and error handling matter too. We base the estimate on a list of device models and work scenarios.
What happens when a device stops responding or its model changes?
We design error handling from the start: the app tells the worker what happened and lets them finish the task manually so work does not stop. Different models are isolated in separate modules, so replacing a scale or printer does not require rebuilding the whole system. Undocumented protocols are a risk, so we test on a real device. We protect device data following practices aligned with ISO/IEC 27001.
Can I add more devices later or change the hardware supplier?
Yes. We build integrations modularly, so a new scanner, scale or printer model can be added as a separate driver without touching the rest of the system. After launch we can handle updates and support for further stations. The code and documentation are yours, so changing hardware does not tie you to us or to one manufacturer. Purchase and installation of the hardware is handled by the client or their supplier.
